MICHAEL KLETT

Michael D. Klett is an accounting and finance professional who helps find dynamic solutions for growing businesses. Previously, Mr. Klett was a member of the receivership team overseeing Gabriel Capital LP and Ariel Fund Ltd, two funds that lost over $600 million to the Madoff Fraud. His team inherited a complex $1.2 billion investment portfolio and ultimately returned over $2 billion to investors.

Mr. Klett was one of the key architects of over $750 million of legal settlements with the Madoff Estate and other parties. He has also performed major consulting assignments for BP, Deutsche Bank, and The Walt Disney Company, in addition to a number of startups and early-stage companies.

In addition to his work with the Human Animal Alliance, he also serves as a Trustee of the Steinway Society of Puerto Rico, Renbrook School, and is a volunteer mentor at the international innovation hub, Parallel 18.

He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and is a graduate of Fordham University. He resides in New York City.
