Born and raised in New York, Tamara exudes southern charm with a side of northern energy and tenacity. From 2004-2018, she traveled the United States as a Regional Director representing several beauty brands such as Alterna, Bumble and Bumble, MOP, American Crew, Creative Nail, Profound and Macadamia. Her primary responsibilities were selling into distribution and educating hundreds of Distributor Sales Reps.  During this time, Tamara rubbed elbows with haircare legends such as Tabitha Coffee, JPM, David Raccuglia, Nick Arrojo and Michael O’Rourke. It was a wonderful chapter of her life, until she married and had her first and only son, Maxim.  At that point, priorities changed, and it became important to Tamara to stay close to home. Leaving the luxurious world of travel behind her, she dove into her local market and began selling for local distribution and built a beauty consulting business while juggling her responsibilities as a mother.  Once quarantine hit in 2020, Tamara utilized the “downtime” to launch a new career in real estate.  She is currently making a name for herself within the residential, commercial and investment real estate markets as a Broker/Realtor for The Agency Real Estate, Coastal Carolinas.

Referred to most of her life as “The Connector,” Tamara has an impressive ability to develop and maintain relationships while bringing likeminded individuals together to thrive. She is a strong believer in nurturing existing relationships while continuously growing her network and sphere of influence daily.  She attributes most of this to her mother, a former elementary school teacher with a huge heart and magnetic personality. Her mother is her best friend and has always been her biggest fan, providing comfort and love always.

Tamara has always been a firm believer in the impact that animals can have on humans, but it wasn’t until she faced several tragic incidents in her own life that she truly experienced and understood the power of the human-animal bond firsthand.  After a terrible accident and the death of her father, she brought a precious pug named Lola into her life.  Lola came at a time when Tamara desperately needed the unconditional love and emotional support that only an animal can provide, and Lola gave her that for 12 years.  Tamara often refers to “the power of the pug!” and even credits Lola to saving her life.  Although Lola has since crossed the Rainbow Bridge, other fur babies (Olive Brooklyn Louise and Miss Kitty) have stepped in as the next generation of animals by Tamara’s side.

In her downtime, Tamara loves to perfect her charcuterie skills, work out, cut the grass, and spend quality time with her husband, her Football obsessed son, Maxim, and both of their fur babies. Life is good!
